New Spring Tour with Cory Joseph—help us name it!
Hey Everybody,
So, I’m in the process of a booking a spring tour with Cory Joseph in late April/early May along the West Coast! We are going to be playing college/university campuses, house shows, venues, etc..
We are always looking for help in terms of places to visit and play, so if you are interested in helping us out by setting up any of the above mentioned, nothing is out of the question. Leave a comment below and we’ll get back to you right quick.
However, more importantly, we need a name to christen our tour. Here are some suggestions that Cory and I both came up with this morning:
a.) Two Guys, one cup [this seemed a bit gross to me].
b.) The Italian Stallion Tour
c.) Two guys, one Mike.
What do you think? Leave a comment below with some suggestions and we’ll pick the best one and carry it with us as our shining moniker as we travel the West Coast like a bunch of gypsies. Bring it on. Ready… go!

That’s a hard choice! Although, I liked 2 guys, 1 Mike…that one was clever!
Wait a minute Karla, are you trying to say that the other two weren’t clever? Hahaha! Just kidding. So far, “Two Guys, One Mike” is my favorite as well. However, I am sure someone out there will have a better suggestion. Bring it!
d) “Happiness Away from Home”
e) “The Blanket Fort Expedition”
f) “Field of Land Mines Tour”
g) “Stones Throw Up The CA Coast”
Damn Tina, these are all perfect! So, I’m thinking that maybe I need you as a creative consultant for this tour because all of your suggestions are pretty damn clever. I hope Cory is seeing some of these options because I think he would dig the word play on some of his song titles.
While I like “Two Guys, One Mike” I have to say that the one that seems the most meaningful so far is “The Blanket Fort.” I could drop a few of my own that come immediately to mind, but I think that you need more than me just brainstorming, throwing names to the wall to see what sticks. I’ll ponder it more as I listen to your music and let you know if I’m feeling something of substance.
Viva la March 27th!
(BTW, why do the dates under the above comments say Feb 9th when it’s still the 8th?)
Nice, I love creativity, so if you have some suggestions, I’m all ears…err, eyes! I’m definitely looking forward to the house show on the 27th brother.
You know, I think there is something incorrect with the time zone on my site—I need to look into seeing if I can fix that.
Mike
Twin Towers?
Beavis and Butthead?
Mike and Cory’s adventure tour.
Two Guys, one Mike?

Fernando, this is great man! I am definitely digging on all of the suggestions for a tour name.
These are all brilliant! Tina, you rock!
